Yes. Anyone can say the key word and it will activate.

Yes, the Echo Dot answers to my voice and my wife's voice. I do suggest taking the voice training. It's helps the Dot understand your voice better.

Yes they will respond to anyone, both a good thing and a bad thing in busy households.
