• No. They work independent of each other. If you have a Logitech harmony hub, you can control the fire stick with the Dot but that requires another device.

• No. They do not recognize each other. BUT your Fire Stick has Alexa built in and you can do everything with the remote that you can do with the Echo or Dot. You just have to push the button to speak to Alexa.
