Does this echo dot display the time like a clock? null

No. There is the 4th generation that does have the clock feature

No you just say Alexa what time is it and will tell you the time

This particular Echo Dot does not have a clock display. There is another version that does. You can however just say; "Alexa, what time is it?" and she will tell you.
