When I ask our Alexa to give me the weather or to set an alarm, sometimes an Alexa in another room will answer. I think you will probably not easily isolate the alarm to one bedside or another. Since you command the Alexa verbally, it really shouldn’t matter which one has set the alarm.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello! Yes you can have one on both sides of your bed but I would recommend changing one of their names from Alexa to one of the names that are options. This will allow the devices to know which you are talking to and which should respond. You can change the wake word on your Echo device to either Alexa, Amazon, Computer, or Echo. You can either ask Alexa to change the wake word by saying, “Alexa, change the wake word to Echo” or by using the Alexa app to change the wake word on your Echo device. To change it in the app, follow these steps: 1. Open the Alexa app . 2. Open Devices . 3. Select All Devices and then select your device. If your device has active Reminders or Routines, you might have to select settings to reach the Device Settings page. 4. Scroll under General and select Wake Word. 5. Select a wake word from the list, and then select OK. Have a great day!
