Yes. Once you set up the Echo through the Alexa App and it syncs to your phone. You can then make calls through it.

You can sync your smart phone allowing Alexa to connect with your contacts. Then just ask to call whoever you want and your hands free....However once your phone is synchronized everything you do on your phone, such as texting...you hear over Alexa. If music is playing it’s interrupted while your phone is in use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS FEATURE. Do not sync your contacts. We made this mistake and had multiple issues. We had to reprogram disconnecting the phone. But if you don’t mind hearing every click as your texting and your music interrupted go for it. It’s a great feature.
