Well, Echo Show 10 does have calendars, timers, notes, lists, etc., but it the screen/menus are not very easy to navigate. Alexa always seems to do the opposite of what you want, so this just might be more frustrating than useful.

The Amazon Echo Show 10 could work for a digital calendar for a senior citizen and you would be able to set reminders and add items to the calendar through Alexa. This device is made to sit on a counter. The Echo show 15 would work as well and is wall mountable and is 5 inches bigger for easier viewing of the calendar. I hope this helps, have a great day!
