I would think it would work when you're plugged into electrical service at a campground and maybe when running the generator if you have one - since it requires a source of 120 VAC.

The necessary requirements to be able to utilize the full features of this device is a power outlet that it can stay plugged into and a WiFi connection. So as long as you have those capabilities (like a mobile hotspot or campground WiFi), then yes you can absolutely use it in your RV. One other bit of advice, if the device detects movement or an unstable surface, the motion controls of the device may temporarily turn off until it is stable again. You can also disable the motion features in the settings if need be. I hope this helps and you have a terrific day!
