Yes you can connect through the app. And use on the Echo Show

You can access the ADT Skill (Skills are like Apps for Alexa) via the Alexa Smartphone app by tapping More>Skills & Games>then searching for ADT. There you can link your ADT account to Alexa and use your Show 15 to control any smarthome features ADT utilizes in the Skill. If they take advantage of our Smarthome Dashboard widget then it will show up as an option to toggle or control in there as well.
