Hello, yes you can use the Echo devices as an intercom. In the Alexa App you have to enable the Drop-In feature. After that you can simply say "Alexa, drop in on bedroom" or whatever room you want to call. You can also say; "Alexa, announce dinner is ready" and it will announce that on every device.
