“What is the USB C port on the back of the unit used for? Can I get a USB C flash drive with my photo JPEGS format on it and will Echo Show do a photo slide show on screen of them?”

I’ve been able to charge and sync devices with the port on the back. You can do what I did and link Amazon photos to it. Then choose what photos to back up, which ones to do a slide show with. It’s all in the settings on the device and the Alexa app

This being said, here's how to view pictures on the Echo Show: -Upload the pictures from your USB key to Amazon Photos using a PC or Mac, then ask Alexa -"Show my photos." -"Show This Day photos." -"Show Family Vault photos." -"[Pause / Resume / Repeat] slideshow." -"[Previous / Next] photo." -"Turn on shuffle." -"Zoom [in / out]." -"Show my photos of [Name]." -"Share this photo." -"Send this photo to [Name]." -"Show my shared photos."
