“Does this tablet require WiFi for apps to work? And can you download Netflix and Disney plus?”

Yes it works when you download movies from either Netflix or Disney plus.

Hello Des! Many apps and games can be used in an offline format but streaming services such as Netflix or Disney Plus would require a WiFi connection to use. Some of the streaming services do have the option to download certain content for offline viewing however. Yes Disney Plus and Netflix can be downloaded to the device. You will have to enable the devices using a parent account and/or the parent dashboard. You can access that through the parent dashboard online or through the Amazon Kids app on parent's profile on the tablet itself.
