no, go to an amazon 4 star retail store. they will offer you a trade in credit for the old one and will handle everything for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Chuckle! Most, if not all, of your information should sync automatically on a new device once you log in with your Amazon account. Contacts can be a little tricky, but you can make sure they're also set to automatically sync. Just go into the Contacts app, then select the 'hamburger' menu (three stacked horizontal lines) at the top left. Next select 'Settings', and finally 'Contact Settings'. From here just make sure that the option to 'Synchronize contacts across Amazon devices' is selected. Next we turn on 'Backup & Restore' in the Settings app. This is going to be under 'Device Options' and then 'Backup & Restore'. Once this has been enabled, you can restore all your apps and settings on a new tablet! Hope this helps, have a great rest of your day!
