You can use ePub but there are other free apps for reading ebooks from your library. Overdrive Library eBooks is a great one. The device also comes with Kindle loaded on it and kindle has a Free eBooks for Kindle app as well. You can load the free Libby app (which is made by Overdrive as well) but it’s a little more complicated to download then just downloading Overdrive Library eBooks from the App Store but very doable. Hoopla Digital is another app that works with libraries. I personally use Overdrive and it works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jamie, the Amazon Fire Tablets have a version of Libby called OverDrive. It's the same company, just the version designed for the Amazon Fire OS. As far as the EPUB books go, the Fire Tablet will read most of the formats that are out there. I find most of them to be in pdf form which the Amazon Fire Tablet can open.
