Hello navigation! Thanks so much for your question! The Fire HD 10 does have location features and a predownloaded Maps app that has turn by turn instructions available through it. The device would need to be connected to WiFi in order to follow along with your route as you go. There are also a variety of additional 3rd party map and route planning apps available through the Amazon Appstore.
