• A:Answer Hi Carol! Yes you can remove ads after purchasing your Fire HD 10. Log into your Amazon account on the browser or app. Go to Manage your Content and Devices. Select the devices tab and click on your Fire tablet. Under Special Offers click Remove Offers and pay the fee. Usually between $15 and $20 depending on your specific model. Hope that helps!

You would be able to use an application such as Microsoft OneNote, Squid or Handwrite Note Pro. Once you had these apps, or a similar one of your choosing, and a Stylus made to work with the HD10 you would be able to create all of your own handwritten notes. As far as a Stylus goes, I would make sure to purchase one at your local Best Buy or on Amazon.com that is specifically made for Amazon Fire Tablets.
