- Answer any charger that has the same connector or that you can connect the fire tablet usb cable is fine, I charge My fire tablet with a samsung, blackberry, even iphone charger, the first one that is available at my home, and have had no issue, same goes for the other electronic devices in my house (smartphones, Bluetooth speakers, other tablets).

- Answer Yes but you have to either use a third party app or by side loading the app. Nook is not available as an app from amazon. It’s in a different format. Check out this article www.lifewire.com/install-nook-kobo-apps-kindle-1616655

- Answer Fire hd 8 runs on 1.5 GB ram vs fire hd 10 2gb ram. So the 10 is slightly faster.

- Answer Yes; apps used on another Kindle device can be used on your new device. Fire 10 can even allow the installation of apps that did not work on former Kindle Fire tablets.

- Answer No.. not necessary. And I purchased a case when I bought and it will stand upwards and also sideways. Comes in handy while watching a movie or netflix...
