• Yep. http://kindle.s3.amazonaws.com/Kindle_Fire_Users_Guide.pdf also available on-device: on your Kindle Fire, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap More. then tap Help & Feedback, and tap User Guide.

• No, there is no manual and none really needed. Apple did make a PDF file available for IOS 8.
