Yes. You may have to install the Google Play Store by following the instructions here: http://saintlad.com/install-google-play-store-on-kindle-fire/ I di and it worked fine. OverDrive may not be available in the Amazon App Store; not sure. But it is availabe in the Google Store.

You can download the Accessible EPUB 3 Kindle Edition app or the Universal Book Reader app. Just go to amazon.com and type them in.
