Hello Mary, this tablet just like any other device that you will download games on, may or may not have a game that you have on a different device. Not all devices have the same games some my have more than others. For an example, you may not be able to get a game that you have on you Kindle tablet that you have on you cell phone or an iPad. So just keep in mind that you may run into a game or two that are not able to be downloaded to this tablet simply because it is not an Amazon certified game if you will. Hour this help Good Luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the "Amazon app store" to download app/games, which is a built in app. But to install any games, off Google play, you have to install "Google play". Which can be done, without rooting the device, but isn't available in the "amazon app store". That how I got Netflix to work on it. Go to a web browser, on your Kindle, and search Google for "installing Google play on Amazon Kindle fire". Then just follow any of the many walkthroughs, on installing it. You'll download three or four files, run them, then restart the Kindle. Some features aren't available, but I haven't had any issues yet.. Because "amazon app store", doesn't have all the apps/games/etc, that are on "Google play", and vice versa. It most likely won't run any of the high end games. But I do play fall out tactics and other simple games with no issues.
