This is cheap, Fire tab 7" even cheaper if you want. Of course you can check and send email as long as you have internet service and WI- FI in the house. There are no tablets that can't connect internet as I know otherwise what's the use of tablet. You can do anything online, banking, shopping, etc. just like you can do on a computer. How can you play multiple games at same time? What do you really mean? I think you can play games but maybe not very fast speed depend on what games.
