“Recently purchased this. Why won't it show battery level when it's powered off & charging similar Samsung tablets? Doesn't show green light or anything to notify user that it's charging/charged. Please provide info at earliest convenience. Thank you”

Hello, JR! The Fire Tablets do not show you the status of the battery while the tablet is turned off. This tablet is not the same as any as the Samsung tablets, which is why you see this difference. I hope that helps explain why you don't see any of those things. Have a great day!
