A:AnswerIt has a built-in app that allows for viewing of photos. What it can do is limited, but it will allow viewing and vary basic edits of photos. Photos can be moved to and from a microSD card as well. The device will not accept a full-sized SD card if that is the question. It does accept the micro sd cards, but not the full-sized SD card.
A:AnswerHello,
You can. There are pages and forums on how to do so that are official. I would suggest searching "Transfer Content from a Computer to Your Kindle Fire" and you will find the info you are looking for.
A:AnswerHello,
Audible is available for download (its a subscription service, not included) but yet, it has speakers, so you can use the tablet speakers or you can use an external bluetooth speaker. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerHello Lily, this tablet uses the Amazon Operating System. Apple Apps are not available through the Amazon App store. There are however a lot of the same apps available through both app stores.
A:AnswerHello,
Yes, even though this is a regular tablet and not a kids edition, you can still go to settings, and then parental controls and toggle that on. That will set a password to restrict purchasing, content types, web browsing and access to other features like Alexa.

A:AnswerI think it would be fine for running zoom. We have used other versions of kindles (older models) for running zoom and they worked fine. Haven't tried blackboard though. It worked fine for just zoom though. Good luck!
A:AnswerHi James,
It does come with Ads, but you have the option to remove the ads for a one time charge. If you'd like to continue, follow the steps below when logged into your account online.
1. Go to Account > Manage Your Content and Devices > Devices.
2. Select the Kindle device from which you wish to remove Special Offers. Information about the device will appear below the device’s listing onscreen.
3. Look for a line that says Special Offers / Offers and Ads. If you have Special Offers, it will say “Subscribed.”
4. Click the Edit link next to Subscribed, and follow the instructions to unsubscribe. Amazon will tell you the amount you need to pay, and charge you via your 1-Click Payment setting.
