“When I went to swap out the 64 GB card for a 128 GB card, I could not get the card slot to open. On my old Fire I had to go into settings, storage and select 'safely remove SD card'. My new Fire does not have. How can I change out SD card?”

Hi Duke! There shouldn't be anything you have to do on the tablet to enable the physical removal of the Micro SD Card, but I know that the holder on mine is SUPER tight. There is a Sim Card eject tool included in the box for the Fire Max 11, but you should also be able to use a paper clip to get the Micro SD Card holder ejected. iFixit has a great guide on making the swap, it came up for me looking online for "fire 11 max remove sd card" if you're looking for a visual guide to help out. The Fire Max 11 supports up to 1TB Micro SD Cards so you've got plenty of room for more space in the future too. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
