The point would be: 1. voice commands that responds to a whisper. 2. seamless switching from one app to another with just your voice.. 3. 4K streaming. 4. all the Alexa features, like: inquiries, control lights and other devices. 5. control tv with your voice: volume, power on/off, search, change programming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None unless you want to add other services. Cut the cord get Hulu and lower your cable bill to just internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends. I bought an lg webos that has prime, Netflix and Hulu, but I also have hbo now and it was annoying to have to cast it. The firetv also allows you to download apps and watch espn and anything else you subscribe too. I was able to get rid of my cable box which was like 15 a month, so it pays for it self pretty quickly depending on how you use it. I can watch now everything in one location but you are right it does depend on what you watch. But if you think you will like additional features, I was very happy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use your voice to switch between services or turn the tv on or off. Basically you'd just not have to use your remote as much but would still need it for a lot of things. It does have almost all the features of other Alexa enabled products which is a bonus over a smart tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought mine in order to connect to my home theatre system. If your TV setup allows you to connect the audio output of your TV to a home theatre system, or you only want to use the audio from your TV, there is no reason.
