“Is the Alexa Cube compatible with OEC fiber optic tv? My wife is quadriplegic and relies on her voice to control the tv (off/on, channels, volume). Currently we use the OEC internet connected to a Cube to accomplish this. Will it work?”

If I understand correctly your fiber optic package includes Television services and should work just fine when plugged directly into your TV. The fire cube is a streaming device which might also provide Television services but which is also plugged directly into your TV. There would be no reason that I could see to plug your fiber television connection Into the Fire Cube. I don't see any reason why the firecube would interrupt any special access services that you have on your TV now through your Fiber service.

Please try again later.My alexa (fire tv cube) works great with voice assistance you can either A) call out it's name or B) press the alexa button on the remote (which as you stated i believe she can't) but either way will trigger the voice assistance. It does also allow you to connect a cable box to it through its hdmi input slot. It also has a slot for ethernet connection for faster streaming speeds. I love mine.
