You can use voice only!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The included remote is definitely required during setup. I like the convenience of a remote, because pushing the volume up button is faster than say, "Alexa, increase the volume," so I've never tried to go voice only. You may need to reset the device by recycling power; sometimes the voice of the device gets hard to hear and needs to be manipulated physically. I can't think of anything I couldn't do with voice only, but I've also yet to find an exhaustive list of TV control commands that work with this streamer.

It comes with an IR reader in the box, so it will control devices in your home theater set up that use IR control, such as a gaming console, cable box, or even some sound bars. Everything can be done with your voice. You can ask Alexa to turn on and off compatible smart lights and much more. Also, it does come with a physical remote in the box. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!
