Will sound from my cable box play through the cube? null

Hi BobbyB, No, the Fire TV Cube will not play your cable-box audio through its built-in speaker. If you plug the cable box into the Cube’s HDMI-IN the audio is passed through to your TV or receiver, and the Cube can control and switch inputs, but it won’t output that cable audio from the Cube itself.
