Hello Gigi! Yes, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max will work for volume control on a Sharp Aquos Tv as long as it is paired properly. To pair it, 1. On your Fire TV go to Settings 2. Equipment Control 3. Manage Equipment 4. Add Equipment, TV, Select Sharp as your TV Brand. The Fire TV will test the settings for you to make sure volume, and power off controls work.
