• Justed hook it up and your ready to go. If you want to jailbreak it, you can but you don't need to just to use it.

• you can just hook it up, download free channels and channels you wish to purchase. Jailbreak is a different animal. If you wish to do it, do a lot of research, or find a trusted person to help. (It may cost you money).
