“Will this work with direct tv streaming. I am hooking up to multiple Samsung a LG and a vizzio. All but one are smart tv’s. However I hooked up a Roku firestick and it did not work. My tvs do not have a direct tv app built in.”

Yes, the 4K fire stick supports fire OS 7 which supports direct tv streaming. Just download the application on the fire stick and submit your login information
