They do appear automatically. And some are free but most cost money or a monthly subscription. The free activities will say as such but 75% are paid or include cost

For example, CBS, MTV, or services like Netflix, Hulu, Sling etc. Some of the services cost money each month to use. It took me 2 to 3 hours to set everything up. You will need to enter a username and password for each one. If you don't already have that, you will need to join at each individual website. That is to initially set everything up. Once that is done, it's just a matter of clicking on whatever you want to watch. I'm tech literate but the initial setup was pretty time-consuming. I pay each month for different services but it is cheaper than using cable. And I can cancel and restart them anytime.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's just like any device, such as an Apple TV box, Chromecast, Roku, etc. If you want to watch Netflix shows, you need to have a Netflix account. If you want to watch Hulu, you need a Hulu account. If you want to watch Amazon Prime Video, you need an Amazon prime account. If you want to watch HBO, Showtime, etc. you have to pay for those services. This isn't something you buy to replace your cable TV provider and then not have to pay for the services they are providing. Now, if you have such a provider, and you stay with them, then much of what you pay them for, you will be able to stream on the Fire TV stick. So, if you have a TV and you don't want to pay for another cable box, you can use this. If you travel and you stay somewhere that has internet access, you can plug this in and watch your shows.
