Can Amazon Fire TV Stick play YouTube videos that are now blocked by the Google upgrade that stopped YouTube videos on my WD TV Live media player? see images of the YouTube upgrade that stopped my YouTube videos playing on my Samsung Smart TV.-- I watch You Tube on my FS with no trouble so i don't see why it would be a problem 2. Can Amazon Fire TV Stick work on my laptop, and my desktop PCs, to stream DVDs from my HDDs to my Samsung Smart TV? I don't believe it's meant to send out info that it only excepts incoming media 3. Does the Amazon Fire TV Stick work anywhere on a laptop w Wi-Fi? Yes. i travel with mine all of the time.. it's awesome 4. Would the Amazon - Fire TV Streaming Device work better for all practical purposes rather than the Amazon Fire TV Stick? - Depends on what you are looking for. i have a few of each and the larger box has a faster processor and more storage but is not that easy to travel with or hide behind a tv mounted on the wall. I have no problems with the FS and they fit in your pocket. Hope i answered your questions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most PCs have output only HDMI ports. There are a few high end PCs that have input, but they are rare. I have the stack and the box and I have no preference except the price and the stick actually has more memory than the box!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use your Amazon stick.. most places.. as long theirs ethernet to stream. Yes it will work... * about the youtube don't know..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Side load Kodi and this issues go away..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. I am not for certain of the issue you are truly describing. Youtube does have some blocks in place where certain media cant be played in certain regions, on certain devices or for other reasons. That being said you would have to test it to see since you dont reference any specifics. 2. Amazon TV Stick does support streaming of files over your network. It uses an app called Plex. There is a free version you can install on your laptop/pc/mac/nas device that will allow you to share your media in such a way. 3. The Fire TV Stick will not work on a laptop unless your laptop has an hdmi port that would support video in. I have never seen a laptop that supports this so you may want to check with your manufacturer. 4. I have both the Fire TV and Fire TV Stick and for all practical purposes I would say the Fire TV Stick is way better. It is more portable, and hides behind the TV. The only advantage the Fire TV has is the ability to play video games if you have the controller and cost $60 more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The FireTV Stick connects to the HDMI port on a HDTV, so no, it won't work to stream content to your laptop. The Fire TV Streaming device supports both wired and WiFi, so yes it would be better IF you connected it with Cat-5 cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes works with laptop or as a stand alone with your tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2. Maybe, you can install Amazon apps and if there is an app that supports it. Other options is installing Android on the stick. 4. Regular Fire TV remote has a built in mic. TV Stick lacks that and is VERY useful. You can get around finding shows by preparing a playlist ahead of time on your PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1) Yes 2) Yes 3) Yes if the Laptop has HDMI INPUT and you can access the wifi available. 4) No The Box is larger with more features. It is for more involved users. The stick is small and portable. It is better for changing rooms, and on the go. Although it can be plugged in and left alone also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fire stick only needs an HDMI input, power supply, and wifi connection. If your HDMI is only an output then it won't work. Honestly, you should need a fire stick if you are watching on your laptop. YouTube works fine.
