• The only difference between the two is that the regular Fire Stick has the ability to control the power and volume on your TV set through the Fire TV remote, but the Fire TV Stick lite does not have any buttons on it to control your TV so you need to use your TV remote or a universal remote to do that.

• I can only tell you I replaced a first generation Firestick with the lite and it is much easier to navigate - I believe the newer regular firestick have additional control options, but I find nothing missing from this
