mine slides up from the bottom. Has an arrow pointing in the direction to slide

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's way more difficult than it should be. Turn it over, so that the controls are on the bottom. Hold it by the sides with one hand. Then push to slide the back in the direction of the small arrow. I used my left thumb in the indentation and pushed down to slide the back. Use your other thumb at the bottom to push in the direction of the arrow. It takes some pressure down on the remote to get it to move. When the back moves about a quarter of an inch, then pry the bottom of the back up with your fingernail, and it should lift off.
