• You can download the fire stick tv app that works as a wireless remote. Also try holding down your home key on the actual remote for a minute or so and it should recognize it again. Or if you add the app there's an option in the settings to search for remotes and you can re-add it like that.

• Try disconnecting the Firestick and then turning it back on. I had the same issue and this fixed it. You have to link the remote again in settings if it des not automatically connects.

• Holding the home button for ten seconds and play/pause button for ten seconds should work for you or try taking the batteries out and trying new ones
