• There is an app you can download and have access not only to US TV channels, but also international channels. The name is Kodi. Just download it and then search in Google for more instructions on any specific TV channel you are looking for.

• You can't get local news channels, but you are able to get nbc, cbs etc, and other channels by downloading, Pluto TV or Mobdro app on your firestick.
