• I got my free item (Fire TV Stick cover) when I purchased the stick.It showed on the receipt but then the cost of the item was credited back on the same receipt. If you left the store without the item, I would bring your receive back to the store to get it.

• Have you tried installing a barcode scanner on your smartphone and using your phone's camera to scan it? Just an idea.
