“I have a 4k tv with apps, why would this be better, does this give it a better picture and sound? Most of these apps are on my tv.”

I have the original Fire TV Firebox on a Toshiba and purchased the new Fire TV 4K for my Samsung Smart TV—it is not a 4k set. In comparison the Fire TV 4k has a clearer more vivid picture and the apps appear to load faster than my other Fire TV box or the Samsung Smart TV apps. I had my doubts, but I am very happy I ordered it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the only reason i would say is if there were any issue with the box, you'd only need to return it, as opposed to your whole tv. otherwise, all the apps are available on both units
