Amazon TV or Firestock, internet connection and subscription to DirecTv Now, SlingTv, Hulu Live or Playstation Vue (and others). Also recommend a high def antenna to pick up your local channels. Google each of the above subscriptions to learn more about their channel selections and pricing. Basically all are between $40-50 per month for decent channel selections but van be lower for smaller packages, etc. if you are an AT&T cell phone customer then DirwcTv now is cheaper for you. All have their benefits and drawbacks and experience is different than traditional cable but i actually prefer it now. If you are a prime member and have a 4k or UHD tv then get Amazon Fire TV, pick a live TV subscription and we supplement with NetFlix. Will not go back to canle unless they chabge their ways and pricing. The only thing you pay to them will be for your internet but ISP ae few and far between. For your HD antenna find out how far you are from your broadcast towers (google it) and then buy an antenna for your distance. I got mine for $15 and get 18 broadcast channels most in 1080i so picture HD and very clear. Do your research. Use the free trials to find out which subscription service you like best and gove it a chance. Good Luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I have a fire tv stick. The apps that I have is Mobdro, Covenant and Exodus. Mobdro have cable channel like Lifetime, Bet, Bravo, E and more. Covenant and Exodus has Movies and Tv Shows you have to scroll and see what you want to watch. Go to Youtube and plug in how to download these apps. Make sure you have a fast speed internet/wifi.

There are many u tube videos, the one that I liked and used when I dropped spectrun is from a guy called reviewdork. He is awesome and taught me how to set up my Navidad shield. Don't forget a ipvn.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you can get an antenna to get regular channels but if you want more than just regular channels you need a subscription from some place, like Amazon Prime, or Netflix, they are not included without subscribing to them. hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Amazon 4k Fire TV is a source of apps. Some of these newer apps provide live streaming TV for a fee. I subscribe to the "Hulu with Live TV" app where I receive streaming local channels along with many other like ESPN, FOX News, CNBC, & USA. Only newer digital devices, like the Amazon 4k Fire TV support streaming live TV. There are other apps that can provide live TV, like Sling or Direct TV Now (personal preference). My 2014 4k Smart TV has the Hulu app but only supports the Hulu digital library not live streaming TV. The Amazon 4k Fire TV allows me to cut the cord and watch live streaming 4k TV on my older TV.
