• The Fire Tv comes with a USB cable and power adapter to plug into a wall outlet. The Fire TV device itself has a standard USB connection that plugs directly into a USB port on your television.

• No. The micro usb port tonpwer it is in the device and uses a standard usb port for power (simialr to your cell phone).

• It comes with its own power cord and outlet if you do not have another source of power from your tv, but does only use usb power, hope that helps.
