“Will this work on my 55 in 1860 P television until I can get a 4K Ultra television? Obviously it would not play any higher than 1860 P because that is my television standard but I was wondering if it would even be compatible since it's not a 4K Ultra TV.”

Yes! This is faster than the stick (the wifi is twice as fast up to around 200Mbps )

Absolutely. I assume you meant 1080p. I was able to run it on my 2 year old LG 65" 1080p as well as my 8yr old Vizio 50" 720p. Works flawlessly on both.
