“So I opened this to set it up there was about 60% battery I got everything set up and turned it off because it's a xmas gift. My question is should I let the battery run out before the first charge or let it charge right away?”

• I don't think you need to discharge the unit all the way. The new type batteries don't hold a memory like the old style.

• They always say it's best to let any new electronic device die completely and then recharge it.
