Hi CCB, this is likely because the included Amazon Kids+ subscription is tied to the country/market where the device was purchased (U.S.), and some Kids+ options differ in Canada. If you want to remove it, go to your Amazon account under Memberships & Subscriptions (using the same account on the Kindle) and cancel Amazon Kids+ there. You can still use the Kindle without the subscription. Hope this helps!
