I'm not sure what you mean by the USB port. Are you referring to the micro USB port used to charge the device or transfer data? You could probably transfer from a computer through a USB *cable* (I haven't tried it on the HDX, but I could on my original Kindle Fire), but I'm unaware of any micro USB memory stick. There is no full-sized USB port on the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the unit is compatible with Roku. The app store even has a Roku app for the Kindle. Also, as long as the Kindle has a photo viewing app, the pics on the memory stick will be viewable.
