Brad's answer is correct, but true only for e-books that do not have DRM (digital rights management) software which most publishers insist on in the belief that it will prevent piracy. Most B&N ebooks (and ebooks sold anywhere else) have DRM. Calibre's program can reformat ebooks which can then be read on Kindles, but Calibre does not have software that will remove DRM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not directly. Barnes and Nobles uses the epub format, whereas Kindles use a proprietary format that is incompatible (AZW3). If you download and install Calibre on your computer, it will convert books from epub into AZW3, and even email the book to your kindle using your kindle email address. The software is free, open source, and very useful.
