This device is also equipped with wireless charging using a compatible Qi wireless charger which many wireless chargers support. Yes the charger coming in the box, kindle is amazing because you can go anywhere with your favorite books.

Sadly, no. A short charging cord comes with it, but the charger must be purchased separately. I tried plugging the charger cord into my Samsung phone charger, but it wouldn't charge. When I plugged the charging cord into my old Kindle's charger it did charge. I don't know if I just had bad luck, or it's designed that way. For the cost of the latest Kindle, a charger should be included!
