• When you set it up you sign into your existing Kindle account and it automatically loads it onto the new Kindle

• Hello, when you turn the new Kindle Paperwhite on for the first time you will be prompted to log into your Amazon account. By logging into your Amazon account, all your previously purchased content will be available on the new device. Have a great day!
