From Amazon's website: "Kindle Paperwhite is IPX8 rated to protect against accidental immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes, and up to 0.25 meters of seawater for up to 3 minutes." So you don't have to worry about any accidental spills or drops into the pool this summer, but I wouldn't recommend using it as a float! The Signature edition also features wireless charging and the eInk screen is perfect for reading outside, just like using a real book. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
