The Kindle Scribe is mostly designed for reading and writing, so there is no native email access built-in like you might expect from a traditional tablet. You don't need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber in order to download books, there are tons of free books available online through services like Project Gutenberg or even your local library. If you're looking for a subscription service to borrow books though, definitely look into Kindle Unlimited! Audible works great on the Kindle Scribe, through the built-in Bluetooth connectivity as the Scribe does not have speakers. As far as I am aware there is no hard limit to the amount of Notebooks you can create, looking online I am seeing several customers who have up to 180 notebooks with anywhere from 1-20 pages and haven't run into any issues. You'll need enough space for them but generally they take up very little space on the device. I have around a dozen on mine and the entire folder takes up less than 15MB, so it looks like I would need to get into several hundred before I started to worry about space. One last note, while you can only edit your notebooks on the Scribe you can view them in other Kindle applications as long as the Scribe was able to connect to the internet to sync your files. I hope that all helps, have a great rest of your day!
