“Upgrade from Kindle Paperwhite to Kindle Voyage I have a two years insurance on my kindle paperwhite. I purchased my kindle at Best Buy and bought a 2 Years insurance. Based on the sales person's statement, she said with this 2 Years insurance, I could have an upgrade with my kindle paperwhite to a newest edition if there is a new kindle in the market. I wonder if this applies to Kindle Voyage.”

Insurance, in all forms, is meant to return you to where you were before the problem with your insured item. You cannot get a Voyage when you've insured only a Paperwhite.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's my understanding that upgrades are not covered by the warranty program. The warranty program only allows you to replace the exact same item. If the item is no longer available, the warranty allows you to get a Best Buy gift card for the original amount. At that point you could use the Best Buy gift card to purchase the voyage. Seeing as how a new model of the Kindle is currently being sold, I imagine any claims against the warranty will only get you a new Kindle paperwhite version two.
